Senses act as invisible design elements. Aromatheraphy and luminotherapy are discretely integrated in the interior design for a pure a healthy life. The Flying apartments and hotel rooms are paced on the residents rythm of life and follow them from morning to evening. Famous fragrance creators have worked on unique olfactive solutions and contemporary artists specialized in light research have brought us all their know how. The challenge was to create a hyper contemporary Tower concept and build it in the major cities around the world to make of the Flying Towers the most recognizable futuristic worldwide Real Estate brand. Our first idea with Dos Architects was to build an architecture of perception and bring sensuality in the urban landscape both internally and externally. We choose to make a strong ecological statement, this is why we have left the solar panels clearly visible like diamonds floating in the air. Solar panels will provide up to 25% of the total energy consumed within the tower. Engineers have worked on an external skin acting as a protection and a temperature regulator. Its color modifies depending on the time of day and night. Chaque appartement scénarise des climats et des ambiances différents en agissant sur les cinq sens. Elle s'appelle Eternity. Ce n'est pas le nom d'un célèbre parfum mais celui de la première tour d'habitation sensorielle qui verra le jour à Dubaï en 2009, ville de tous les excès architecturaux. Ce projet un peu fou piloté par la société Flying Concepts, spécialiste de la valorisation des marques, est de "marketer" un bien immobilier comme un produit de luxe, en lui attribuant des valeurs et en le truffant d'innovations technologiques. Stéphan Breuer, fondateur de Flying Concepts, a donc étudié les écosystèmes avec le cabinet d'architecture londonien Dosarchitects pour les transposer à la production industrielle. Cette démarche, nommée biomimétisme, consiste à reproduire artificiellement les propriétés essentielles d'un ou plusieurs systèmes biologiques. (...) Le matin, l'occupant des lieux pourra également se réveiller en pleine forme grâce à des effluves de vitamine C habilement distillés dans sa chambre, il pourra aussi colorer l'eau de sa douche au gré de ses humeurs - rouge, bleue, jaune ou verte - grâce à un système de fibres optiques intégrées dans le dispositif.
