FLYING CONCEPTS x LEICA

Stephan Breuer the visionary founder of Flying Concepts, is an explorer of art, sensory and technology but is also a video artist with a very conceptual eye.

The aerial vision of FLYING is translated in each project through this passionate desire to elevate itself. It was natural to express it today in the most literal way possible: imagine a flying object, a drone all in carbon, one of FLYING's favourite material, to be finally able to capture in movement, height and flight, the most beautiful images possible.

This is where LEICA, mythical brand in the world of photography who has always been a reference of desire for lovers of technological excellence and beautiful design steps in the project, or let's say, starts FLYING by believing in this extraordinary adventure that will make the brand rise above the world of contemporary art. This object, the FLYING ART LEICA is a deeply intriguing and captivating creation, it is before anything else a sensory art piece whose amazing beauty defies rationality.

&#60;img src="http://payload2.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/2358672/FLYING%20ART%20LEICA%20STEPHAN%20BREUER%204_800.png" title="FLYING ART LEICA STEPHAN BREUER" alt="Flying Concepts / Stephan Breuer"&#62;
&#60;img src="http://payload2.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/2358672/FLYING%20ART%20LEICA%20STEPHAN%20BREUER%202_800.png" title="FLYING ART LEICA STEPHAN BREUER" alt="Flying Concepts / Stephan Breuer"&#62;
UTILISATION

Flying the drone is extremely simple and intuitive due to its built in stabilisation GPS sensory technology. If the pilot leaves the command the FLYING ART LEICA will stay in stationary flight automatically at a fixed GPS position and keeps its altitude. A special function "COMING HOME" enables the drone to come back automatically at the point of take of.
The FLYING experience is fully assisted through the sensory technology (GPS, altimeter, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer).
A one day training is sufficient to start FLYING the drone in all safety.
The FLYING ART has a wind resistance of 50km/h. A range of 1km. The maximum altitude authorized in France is 150 meters. The maximum weight is 2kgs. The autonomy in flight with the Dlux5 is 25 minutes. Batteries are rechargable in 1h.

VISION

The FLYING ETERNITY TOWER is a real estate revolution.

Stephan Breuer has conceptualized the brand by uniting a unique mix of young architects with some of the most prominent engineers, artists, technology specialists, ecological and solar energy consultants, fragrance developers, light designers, to imagine "THE FIRST SENSORY TOWER".

The FLYING ETERNITY TOWER is the essence of the global FLYING's vision and a strong statement in promoting a new approach to luxury and sensory lifestyle where light, olfaction, immaterial elements, are here to help us live better and longer in a more poetical and sustainable environment.

The tower is a vessel for the FLYING spa's, Restaurants, Hotel, commercial center, Art Apartments, and Art center are cleverly integrated in a fully coherent environment.

Flying Concepts and Dos Architects won a competition in the Middle East with the FLYING Eternity Towers.

VISION

&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/582891/Capture dcran 2011-02-19  19.13.21.png" border="0" width="377" height="390" width_o="377" height_o="390" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/582891/Capture dcran 2011-02-19  19.13.21_o.png" align="left" /&#62;
THE CONCEPT OF CONCEPTS AND THE VESSEL OF THE FLYING'S VISION

The whole idea for the interior spaces was to create the purest sensory environment to help people live better by using the latest technologies and apply them as poetical solutions.

Senses act as invisible design elements. Aromatheraphy and luminotherapy are discretely integrated in the interior design for a pure a healthy life.

The Flying apartments and hotel rooms are paced on the residents rythm of life and follow them from morning to evening. Famous fragrance creators have worked on unique olfactive solutions and contemporary artists specialized in light research have brought us all their know how.

The challenge was to create a hyper contemporary Tower concept and build it in the major cities around the world to make of the Flying Towers the most recognizable futuristic worldwide Real Estate brand.

Our first idea with Dos Architects was to build an architecture of perception and bring sensuality in the urban landscape both internally and externally. We choose to make a strong ecological statement, this is why we have left the solar panels clearly visible like diamonds floating in the air. Solar panels will provide up to 25% of the total energy consumed within the tower.
Engineers have worked on an external skin acting as a protection and a temperature regulator. Its color modifies depending on the time of day and night.

It is our ambition to dematerialize architecture as much as we can and too rethink the accepted typologies that we usually find in most of residential and hotel towers.

NAM JUNE PAIK

NAM JUNE PAIK

		<description>A HIGHLY MINIMAL SENSORY EXPERIENCE

VISION

The FLYING RESTAURANT is the first concept imagined by FLYING.

This sensory experience of the immaterial is designed to enhance all your senses and make you levitate in an intense state of perception.

Each table is simply surrounded by a beautiful "cone of light" materialized by a condensed smoke of mineral air.
A spatialized sound rhythm the experience all along the dinner.

When approaching the "cone of light" opens automatically to let you penetrate in this ultra sensitive environment.

The dining elements are in a reflective material such as silver.

We slowly loose the sense of time and space to focus on the essential and rebuild the relationship with the present moment and your sensations.

&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/584120/Screen%20Shot%202012-01-23%20at%205.14.23%20PM_800.png" title="STEPHAN BREUER-FLYING RESTAURANT-FLYING CONCEPTS" alt="Flying Concepts / Stephan Breuer"&#62;
&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/584120/Screen%20Shot%202012-01-23%20at%205.14.55%20PM_800.png" title="STEPHAN BREUER-FLYING RESTAURANT-FLYING CONCEPTS" alt="Flying Concepts / Stephan Breuer"&#62;
&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/584120/Screen%20Shot%202012-01-23%20at%205.14.42%20PM_800.png" title="STEPHAN BREUER-FLYING RESTAURANT-FLYING CONCEPTS" alt="Flying Concepts / Stephan Breuer"&#62;

For this space we wish to reach the most minimal and purest form of architecture by getting rid of any physical barriers and superfluous excess.
This immaterial concept is both an ecological statement for a better future and a radical new vision of luxury.

By playing with the sense of time and space this fantastic experience will be unforgettable, poetic, inspiring...

		<description>OLFACTIVE SCULPTURE

VISION

FLYING IMMATERIAL is an olfactive sculpture made out of anodized aluminium that feels to be floating and diffracting the light in a seemingly void.

The dramatization of the sense of perspective is done in a poetic manner and it is only when the sculpture is being used that the holographic interior system slightly materializes its mystery.

&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/582536/FLYING IMMATERIAL STEPHAN BREUER1_800.png" border="0" width="800" height="597" width_o="916" height_o="684" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/48729/582536/FLYING IMMATERIAL STEPHAN BREUER1_o.png" align="left" /&#62;

VISION

Olfaction is a new medium of artistic reflection and a manner of taking us further in transmitting an artistic emotion.

The possibilities offered by the invisible olfactive diffusion technology allows a pure and healthy solution that preserves the fragrances qualities and essential oils properties.

INSPIRATIONS

Flying Concept's inspiration for the IMMATERIAL comes from the American art and more specifically the Californian one from the years 1960-1970, which evokes a certain "mysterious minimalism"...

Peter Alexander, Larry Bell, Robert Irwin and James Turrell use pure geometric forms and primary colors, their deceptive simplicity at first glance hides a highly sophisticated process. Recognizable by their translucent, reflective, or ethereal surfaces, the work done by these artists has often explored the ephemeral frontiers between painting and sculpture and created wider opportunities to experience art.
